The trial was fraught with irregularities, and new evidence has surfaced that clearly points to the real killer.

For 47 years, Tommy Zeigler has maintained his innocence.

The state of Florida is fighting to uphold this wrongful conviction.

But Tommy Zeigler is fighting to prove his innocence through DNA testing, which was finally granted in 2022.

Florida has more wrongful convictions and exonerations from death row than any other state in the USA.
